On Wednesday March 27th, our students celebrated making memories in their classrooms with their teachers. It was a fun morning with many surprises, laughs, and good times.
Kindergarten had an Easter egg hunt in the gym helping each other finding the eggs. First grade played an Easter egg hunt game, a spring base ten math game, and after snack, it was time for an Easter movie.
Fifth grade got creative with crafts, and made birdhouses, wind chimes, and, decorated non-real eggs. For sixth and seventh grades, it was a kickball game challenge in the school yard. Seventh grade won the game and all were good sports. Eighth grade completed a challenge – let’s set a formal table. From glasses, goblets, plates and silverware, they met the challenge and had a lot of laughs.
Memory day was a good time to celebrate spring and have some fun!
