On Tuesday, June 6th, Mrs. Howard our administrative assistant got a very special surprise. As everyone was gathered in the gym for morning prayers, Mrs. Howard was asked to join Sister Alicia at the podium. Once there, before her family and our school community, Mrs. Howard received recognition for her 40 years of service to St. Cecilia School. At that time, it was revealed that the primary floor would be named “HOWARD HALL” in honor of Mrs. Howard. Sister Alicia presented her with the plaque that now hangs on the wall as you enter Howard Hall.
The plaque reads:
HOWARD HALL
In honor and recognition of
JOSEPHINE HOWARD
In gratitude for rendering 40 years
of commitment to St. Cecilia’s School.
Mrs. Howard is a tireless dedicated servant
to administration, faculty, and families
within our school community.

Mrs. Howard saw another surprise after the ribbon cutting - a poster figure of herself, pointing the way to Howard Hall.
We thank Mrs. Howard for her hard work and dedication to our school. She is always there to lend a helping hand and is a living example of our schools’ theme “The Beatitude Attitude”. Congratulations on this great accomplishment!
