The family of Ms. Sharon Rose Watson once again, graciously awarded a scholarship in her memory, to a student entering the eighth grade in the fall. Ms. Watson was a teacher here at St. Cecilia’s. This scholarship will cover the tuition for the entire school year and is awarded for excellence in Language Arts as well as a love for reading. Mrs. Watson Max was present to speak with our students about her mother and present the scholarship. This year’s recipient of the Sharon Rose Watson Memorial Award is Darrian L. Darrian was very excited and surprised to hear his name announced. Once he received his award, Darrian was able to call his mom to give her the good news.
