On Friday, September 6th, we came together to celebrate our first prayer service and thank God for a new year of learning and friendships. Being “The Beatitude Attitude School”, each class was commissioned by Sr. Alicia with a specific Beatitude to focus on throughout this school year. The prayer service concluded with Mrs. Rhea taking us all back in time with our closing song, Two Hands, One Heart. Before the song was played, Mrs. Rhea invited those eighth graders who have been with us from when they were in first grade, to come forward as she reminded them how they performed this song for Three Kings Day way back in first grade. Our eighth graders being leaders, led the way.
